⚓ Weekend Charter – Saturdays & Sundays, 2pm to 6pm

Looking for something a bit different for the weekend?

Most Saturdays we depart from Kirkwall, usually running 4pm–8pm.

Sundays we head out from St Margaret’s Hope.

Our private afternoon charters run every Saturday and Sunday from 2pm–6pm, unless a different time is arranged, giving you a perfect four‑hour escape on the water. They’re ideal for birthdays, family outings, corporate groups, photography trips, or simply a relaxed afternoon with friends.

Our weekend charters start from £200 per hour (minimum 4 hours) and can accommodate up to 12 guests comfortably.

You choose the pace — wildlife, coastal cruising, or just time afloat with good company. We’ll take care of the vessel, the comfort, and the atmosphere.

 

🔥 Hot Tub, BBQ & A Taste of Island Life

Make the most of your charter with access to our onboard hot tub and BBQ. There’s nothing quite like easing into warm water while we anchor in a sheltered bay, taking in the scenery with a drink in hand as the afternoon drifts by.

For guests wishing to elevate their trip, the A Taste of Island Life experience can be pre‑booked. This includes BBQ scallops and lobster cooked onboard, served with wine and accompanied by local Orkney produce such as bere bannocks, Orkney cheese, and oatcakes. It’s a true from‑the‑sea‑to‑your‑plate experience — fresh, simple, and enjoyed in the very environment it comes from, offering something no restaurant can replicate. £40 per person.

🌅 Finish Your Day in St Margaret’s Hope

If your charter departs from or finishes in St Margaret’s Hope, you’re welcome to step ashore to round off the evening with a meal, a wander, or a quiet drink.

There’s a great bus service running back to Kirkwall and Stromness, so your group can return easily without needing to bring vehicles.
